QUARANTINE LIFE DRAWING LESSONS 2020

INTRODUCTION

The process to process of life drawing this through  the coming weeks is all about
the making sketching in Biro pen quick and instant, and with progression the aim here is

just to show and explain to you, that you don't have to be an  Artist of a certain level to start to copy an object or anything in your vision that you see around you because from every line you sketch

practice takes time even myself from the references from what I've sketched in Biro pen may not always look perfect, but I've made the decision to attempt to sketch what I want to sketch and do my best to improve day by day and I really hope from seeing my process of

sketching below, that I hope to encourage those of you that love Art and want to find away to practice in away that can be done between you being at work or even sketching on the  way to work

I want all of you to know that your time in your day is special and what you do with your time in how you create your Art is where your practice to improve your hobby or skill, will heavily determine how much you practice day by day to week to week and

I really hope this information helps people who really want to follow their passions but feel there time limited by life, I really want to show you how I create my art through a though process through days moving forward with my own life.

HMMM......WHAT DO YOU NEED TO GET STARTED  ????

A BIRO PEN

I used to study computer Animation in University and I always was a fan of using the pencil but I spoke with another student once and asked him why he always used pen to draw and he told me because with pen you can't rub out the marks of your sketching where as

with pencil if you sketch out in pencil all the time, you might feel encouraged to always use your eraser to rub out the pencil marks while sketching therefore slowing your process of completing a sketch trying to be perfect all the time, sometimes when your just

beginning out to sketch, your best efforts at first may not always come out the way you want it to come out but with practice over a period the more you practice you be surprised what you can do, so

do please don't give up, please stay focused and have fun on improving on sketching on a day to day basis on anything you see out of your eyes.

WEEK 1

Bus Passenger

First part of my journey to work and this is a quick sketch of a passenger while he's sitting behind me and the bus was moving pretty shacky at times so it was a little tricky to sketch at times, but thats what happens you adapt to situation you are in when you are sketching.

The Three seats

okay I here im on my way to my day Job and Im about to get off the train soon so I thought let take a snap shot on my Phone of these seats because I want to start my day with a quick sketch here because i'm about to get off the train soon !!!

Three seats sketch below

Okay here I decided I had to quick but not super accurate because I know I'm about to get off the train soon, so I cant waste any time so this is what I came up with this took me a few minutes to do.

Three seats sketch ( DETAIL ADDED)  below

Later on after I finish my day job on I decide on the way home to add detail to my sketch of the three seats on the train by looking at the reference of the photos I took before of the three seats and doing my best to copy and shade this took me about around 15mins to 20mins to do on the train, I know I can do better, but its practice that is real perfection in how I use my time that matters.

Foldable seats snap shot below

I'm on the Underground on my way to work and these are the seats I sea to draw t get started in Sketching. Now because I know my destination is going to take a while to get I will have more time to sketch these seats on very fast moving train, where as before on the Three seats image I sketch in the last section I knew I only had a few train stops to go so the quality of the sketch would defer depending on how much time you can spend on each sketch

Foldable seats Sketch below

This sketch took me at least 10mins to do as this was the length of the journey on the train so this what I came up with, it was very tricky to draw so still because  underground trains are so fast and bumpy its hard to maintain the balance of your pen on the page at times.

Foldable seats DETAIL ADDED below

Later on through out the day after I finish work I was able to add some detail on train on the way home with the use of the photo I took before with my camera I know my phone and I was to use reference from the photo to finish my sketch, but I know this picture is not perfect but it doesnt matter its the attempt to get better is what counts so please don't give in or don't give up.

The Park in Shoreditch Snap shot

Often I like to visit Shoreditch when I'm not working on my days off, theres a hub of creativity thats there and I was walking around and I saw this park and I had never seen before and I decided to walk in and sit down on a bench and take a rest for a short while.

The Park in Shoreditch Sketch below

I decided to sketch a section of the view of the park I saw and I think I may have got certain proposition of the image not correct, but I know even more so with practice I will improve and thats the mentality you must have perfection is not a destination its an action of trying to achieve a goal in your sketching so please don't up keep pushing yourselves.

Later on when I was on my way home , on the train I decided to add  detail to the image and really use the photo as a reference point to really add detail to the image to push image forward again t.he more you enjoy on improving you will get stronger in the muscle memory of your mind to sketch better and better.

London Bridge snapshot below

Here I was on the way home in the weekend waiting for my train, and I saw the seats ahead of me and I thought why not sketch them quickly before I get on the train results are below.....

This is what I came up with below in my sketch below at the Train stain at London Bridge and I had to sketch really quickly so I didn't have the time to be accurate because my train was about to leave so
this took about 7 mins or a little less to sketch I could always do better with practice and thats how your mind set must be just always have the hunger to be and do better never quit keep sketching for all you that are seeing this.

London Bridge Sketch below

London Bridge ( DETAIL ADDED) below

I'm on the train now and I added some detail from the photo I took on my phone, to use as reference to really add the detail I see and use as a reference point again the main point is to keep practicing and do my best so you guys do the same too never give up !!! this took about 20 mins to complete.

Morning Clothes Sketch below

The Morning I wake up I have my clothes on my wardrobe and this was a quick sketch when I woke up from my bed where I really wanted to get something down on paper to really get the day started, I didn't take a photograph because I decided there will times I may take photos of the picture that I may draw, and others I may not always take photos at times just because I really feel I can finish the sketch in one attempt.
